  14.              The very short  documentation  says  "BRIX is an arcade
  15.         and puzzle experience!" That's a pretty good description for
  16.         one of the best games I've seen in some time.  Not  only  is
  17.         it  an  exciting  arcade  game, it's also one that makes you
  18.         think and plan ahead before you make any move.
  19.         
  20.              To use an old cliche, BRIX is easy to play, but hard to
  21.         master.  The object is  to eliminate the different patterned
  22.         tiles by making them fall in place next to a  matching  one.
  23.         That  sounds simple enough, but the hard part is to maneuver
  24.         your tiles to accomplish this.  When you have an even number
  25.         of matching tiles, this  isn't  too  difficult.  But, if you
  26.         have an odd number, it can be tricky to get three of them to
  27.         line up.  To make things worse, each level is  timed.   Your
  28.         points  are  dependent on how long it takes to complete each
  29.         level.

  31.              BRIX I  has  112  levels  of  play  and  4 skill levels
  32.         ranging from EASIEST to HARDEST.  The easier levels give you
  33.         more time to finish.  This is especially important the first
  34.         few times you play.  After you play this game for  a  while,
  35.         you  can  move up to the harder levels.  The first couple of
  36.         levels  are  more  or  less  primers  to  show  you  all the
  37.         obstacles and gives you a "feel" for the game.  You will run
  38.         into elevators,  quick  sand,  water,  bricks,  lasers,  and
  39.         teleporters.   You'll even find that the screen will flip on
  40.         you at times.  It'll take  a  lot  of strategy to get a good
  41.         score.

  43.              BRIX has all you could want in a game.   It  has  great
  44.         graphics  and  fluid  movement.  It even has a Sound Blaster
  45.         sound track.  If you want, you can play head to head with an
  46.         opponent.  Be sure to give  yourself  plenty of time, as you
  47.         won't want to stop once you start.  This one  will  probably
  48.         get added to my "To Register" list!

  50.              Registration  gets  you  BRIX  II  Deluxe  with 112 new
  51.         levels, a level editor, and a level solver.
